Bobbie Vernell Robinson was born December 31, 1940 in Camden, SC. She was the daughter of Willie Catherine Lyles and Curtis (Kershaw) Robinson. Ms. Bobbie Robinson entered into heavenly eternal life on October 26, 2020.
Ms. Robinson received her elementary education at Kirkwood School and graduated from Jackson High School, Camden, SC. Throughout her working career, she worked at Skyline Manufacturing, and other manufacturing companies as a seamstress. She also worked in Home Care Assistance, -and Personal Care Assistance until she retired.
Her Christian education started at home with her Mother and Grandmother, Mrs. Emma Lyles, and further nurtured at Sanders Creek Baptist Church where she was baptized and a lifelong participating member and committed worker. Her services included: The Usher Board, Pastor's Aid Club, Missionary Society, the John L. Chestnut Chorale, the Inspirational Mass Choir, and the Sanders Creek Senior Choir, singing in the Alto Section. She willingly participated wherever needed in all activities and responsibilities of the church faithfully.
Bobbie also loved and served her Kirkwood community. She participated in numerous community and park events to further the betterment of the neighborhood. To have fun, she marched in the Kirkwood parades playing the drums, while her sisters Alma and Wilhemenia played other percussion instruments.
Bobbie was a soft-spoken beautiful spirit, and was a praying woman of God. She loved everyone, and especially loved all her family and extended family. She would give you her last, even if it meant she went without. She was truly our-Mom Joshua!
On Monday, October 26, 2020, she departed to her home beyond the sky, with her earthly family praying, standing by her side.
