Thelma Smalls

Thelma Belton Smalls, the beloved daughter of Margaret and Fred Belton, Sr, was born on September 11, 1945 in Camden, South Carolina. She was called from her earthly labor to eternal rest on August 31, 2022.

Thelma received her education in the Kershaw County Public Schools. After high school graduation, she became a licensed cosmetologist. Thelma was a dedicated and faithful member of Saint Peter United Methodist Church where she served as a lay leader, an usher and a singer in the church choir. Throughout her life, she touched the lives of so many, and will be sorely missed by those who were blessed to know her.

Thelma is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Leroy E. Smalls; two sons, Jerry Smalls of Camden, South Carolina and Robert E.
