Richard Hubbard

Richard Hubbard, 68, of Lugoff, South Carolina, formerly of Cassatt, South Carolina, entered into rest on June 28, 2018. Richard was born in Camden, South Carolina to the late James and Estelle Hubbard.Richard was a graduate of Jackson High School. He earned an associate degree in transportation. Richard was a proud United States Army Veteran. Following his honorable discharge from the US Army, he would return to Camden, South Carolina and went on to work for BF Goodrich and DuPont. He was a current member of Nazareth Baptist Church in Cassatt, South Carolina.Those left to cherish his memories include his children, Dwight Coleman (Politiece), Susan Belton (Ivory), Josephine "Tarsha" Hutcherson (Aundre), and Richard "Rick" Hubbard, Jr; nine grandchildren; siblings, Bettye Flowers, James Hubbard, Jr (Jennifer), Donald Hubbard (Myrtle), Willie "Bill" Hubbard (Ceasar), Alphonso Hubbard (Irmgard), Mary Brooks, and Stacey Drakeford, a host of other relatives and loving friends.Mr. Hubbard will be available for public viewing at Collins Funeral Home, Inc on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 3 PM until 6 PM. Funeral services will take place at Nazareth Baptist Church, 1633 Perkins Rd, Cassatt, SC 29032, at 2 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018. Mr. Hubbard will lie in state an hour prior to the service. The family processional will depart from Collins Funeral Home, Inc at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018.
