Mr. Joseph Edward Taylor was born in Boykin, South Carolina on December 26, 1954 to the late John and Ida Sumter Taylor. He departed this life on January 23, 2022 at home.
He was a long time member of St. Stephens Baptist Church. He enjoyed family and riding his bike.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Taylor and Ida Sumter Taylor; siblings, Eartha Aiken, Sgt. Hazel Taylor, and John Taylor.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Betty Moody and Frances (June) Womack; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
