Henry Stover

Henry Stover, 83, died peacefully in Camden, South Carolina on May 05, 2020 at KershawHealth. He was born in Camden, South Carolina on February 28, 1937 to Eddie Stover, Sr. and Cornelia Loynes Stover.
Henry was educated in the public school system of South Carolina and attended Jackson High School. He spent most of his career working in manufacturing at Kendall (now Cardinal Health) in Camden, SC. Henry was an active member of the White Oak Baptist Church where served as chair of the deacon board and choir member for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, the beach, and visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loma Fletcher Stover; both parents; two brothers, Dan and Murphy Stover; and one sister, Sally Turner.
Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children Henry Sterling (Pam) Stover of Newberry, SC; Frederick Stover of Elgin, SC; Lawrence (Frances) Stover of Camden, SC; Murray (Lisa) Stover of Westville, SC; Murphy Stover of Lugoff, SC; Nancie (Douglas) Stover-Nicholson of Easley, SC; five grandchildren, Henry Keith, Daryl, Lawrence, Jr. (Brittany), Murshay, and Murray Syon; and three great grandchildren. Additionally, his seven surviving siblings, Mary (Brodies) Stover, Della Peeples, Willie Mae (James) Newton, Lillie Benjamin, Geneva (Thomas) Williams, Eddie Stover, Jr., and Jimmy Stover; a special friend, Dorothy Richardson; a daughter-in-love, Stella Stover; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends remain to celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the One SC Fund at www.yourfoundation.org/one-sc-fund/ < http://www.yourfoundation.org/one-sc-fund/ >. The One SC Fund was established to respond to food, shelter, health, and nonprofit sustainability needs stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
