Evelyn "Marcine" Cunningham

Evelyn Marcine (Drakeford) Cunningham entered into glory on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Alava Drakeford, Jr. and Emma Mae Mingo Drakeford, born on November 9, 1962 in Camden, South Carolina.


Evelyn was a graduate of North Central High School. She was employed at Hengst of North America in Camden, South Carolina. Evelyn loved spending time with her family and she thoroughly enjoyed reading books in her free time.


Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Patrick Cunningham, Sr.; her five children, Yolanda (Kris) Drakeford, Erica (Troy) Lee, Patrick Cunningham, Jr., Cedric Owens and Markavis Cunningham; seven grandchildren whom she adored, Makayla Drakeford, Chase Owens, Troy Lee, II, Brison Cunningham, Trenton Lee, Chandler Owens and Xander Owens; her mother, Emma Mae Mingo Drakeford; three brothers, Alava Donald Drakeford, David Drakeford and Robert Drakeford; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Saint John Baptist Church led by the Reverend Eddie L. Moore.


Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1st, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home.
