Mr. Ernest Reynolds entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home. He was born in Camden, South Carolina on July 2, 1939; he was the son of late Jess Reynolds and Louise Belton.
Ernest attended St. Peter United Methodist Church and Kershaw County Public School at an early age. He worked for Duke Power for 25 years then began to proceed into landscaping for many years. He was known for his smile, his laughter, his business, loving spirit, spoiling his grandkids, and a helping hand anytime he could help someone out.
Ernest was proceeded in death by his loving wife Beulah Reynolds, parents, sister, Esther Jackson, brother, Joseph Reynolds, and stepson Raymond Salmond.
He leaves behind a legacy, daughter, Diane Reynolds of Camden, South Carolina, son, Steve Reynolds of Chesterfield, South Carolina, stepson, Paul Salmond of Camden, South Carolina, a god daughter DeeDee Drakeford of Camden, South Carolina; sisters, Eloise (Alvis) Rogers of Queen Village, New York, Ruth Jackson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Annie R (Willie) Gordon of Columbia, South Carolina, Willene R Halley of Rembert, South Carolina, Bernice (Gerard) Scott of Summerville, South Carolina, Shirley L Reynolds of Columbia, South Carolina, and brother, James (Alberta) Reynolds of New Rochelle, New York; six grandchildren, his beloved, Angel Reynolds, Paulette Haile, Charity Reynolds, Chris Reynolds, Orlandria Johnson, and Sha’Asia Tucker; seven, great grandchildren, Zaiden Kelly, Shania Burris, Shakira Pebble, Carter Milton, Skylar Reynolds, Riley Scarbourgh, and Kingston Scarbourgh; three sisters-in-law, Mary Drakeford, Elizabeth Drakeford, and Nancy Salmond; a host of nieces and nephews, and a special thank you to Janice Glover, Vicky McClinton, Jesse Salmond, and Thomas Cantey.
