Doris Elane Halley, 62, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina. Born in Bishopville, South Carolina, on Tuesday, March 19th, 1963, Doris was a beloved resident of Sumter, SC, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering love.

Doris spent her life nurturing deep familial connections and was a pillar of strength for all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted siblings: Bishop Blake Halley, Terry Halley, Patricia (David) Williams, and Cheryl (Melvin) Shannon. She also leaves behind a cherished legacy of nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored her dearly. Doris was preceded in death by her loving parents and siblings Rosemary Williams, Willie Mae Dukes, and Lavern Halley, who surely welcomed her with open arms.

To celebrate the life of Doris Elane Halley, a funeral service will be held at Collins Funeral Home, Inc in Camden, South Carolina, on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at 11 am. Following the service, Doris will be laid to rest at the Household of Faith Church Cemetery in Rembert, SC.
