Cindi Lyn Powell

Cindi Lyn Powell, daughter of the late Eugene Jackson Howard and Wilma Armstrong Howard entered into rest on July 21, 2023. A visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM.

She was born on September 21, 1957, in Paterson, New Jersey. Cindi was united in holy matrimony to the late Johnny Powell. She worked as an ICU nurse for a number of years.

Cindi was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Jackson Howard and Willma Elizabeth Howard; her husband, Johnny Powell; sisters, Kathi Wallace and Wendi Combs.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Lizbeth M. Howard; one grandson, Rashaun W. Pickett; one granddaughter, Ariana E. Pickett; one sister, Joni L. Howard; one brother, Terry L. Howard and his wife; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
