Anton Sherrod Blocker, a son, brother, husband, father, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend and one of God’s children, who was always being prayed for, left this earthly world on September 28, 2022, in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Anton, the son of Calvin and Geneva Blocker, was born July 10, 1982, in Camden, South Carolina. He received his education in the public schools of Kershaw County. Anton attended Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church (Kirkwood) where he was a member of the church junior choir. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and performing comedy routines for his family and friends. Anton worked at Kirkwood Stables for 10 years and he worked at Walmart in Camden before moving to North Carolina.
Anton leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents, Calvin and Geneva Blocker; children, Nyla Sanders, of Columbia South Carolina, Tayon and Kashton Blocker of Lugoff, South Carolina, and Jayden Luther of Camden, South Carolina; sisters, Jermae Blocker, Andrell Gray of Lugoff, South Carolina, Shaniqua Gray of Camden, South Carolina, Naomi Sanders (Travis) of Cameron, North Carolina, Crystal Barnes, of Columbia, South Carolina; brothers, Casey Brunson of Camden, South Carolina, and Benjamin Fedd of Whitewater, New York; Godparents, Phyllis H. Dye, Desiree and Alfonzo Gonzalez, Sr of Camden, South Carolina; Godson, Alfonzo Gonzalez, III; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
