Sholanda Belton

February 6, 1985 — April 20, 2021

Sholanda M. Belton was born February 6, 1985 to her proud and loving parents, Jimmy and Marjorie Belton. She gained her heavenly wings on April 20, 2021 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Sholanda has left us with so many good memories and many more good thoughts. She was unofficially crowned the QUEEN of Facebook. If you were having a bad day, you could go on Facebook and I promise you that she would have posted something that would have had you laughing so hard that you would forget what you were going through. She knew how to lift your spirits with laughter and joy.

Sholanda attended Camden High School where she graduated in 2003. She worked at Burger King in Columbia, South Carolina until her health would not allow her to do so. She was baptized at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Kirkwood where she continued her spiritual walk with God.

Sholanda was greeted on her entrance into heaven by her maternal grandmother, Estelle "Poochie" Belton; paternal grandparents, Hattie and Taylor Belton; paternal great-grandmother, Lizzie Mclinton; aunt, Betty Belton; two "brothers-from-other-mothers", Leon Moses and Robert "Monty" Demary; and her uncle, Roger "Taylor" Belton.

Sholanda has left to cherish her memories her wonderful and ever present parents, Jimmy and Marjorie Belton of Columbia, South Carolina; her most precious and amazing daughter, Gabriel Belton of the home; loving brother, Jimmy Belton of Atlanta, Georgia; her faithful sister, Jamie Belton of Columbia, South Carolina; seven aunts who adored her, Lauretta Belton, Jan Kiser, Rosalyn (Steven) Hampton, Alice (Baxter) Williams, Cheryl T. Brown and Tiesha Belton all of Camden, South Carolina and Audrey (Moses) Lyles of Elgin, South Carolina; two uncles, James (Virginia) Belton of Camden, South Carolina and Ray Kiser of Bishopville, South Carolina; one niece, Morgan; three nephews, Shawn, Leonardo and Isaiah who she loved and adored being an Aunt to; a host of cousins, friends, and special friends Naomi Sanders, Olivia Rainey, Leslie Coleman, Nikki Kershaw, Victoria Whitaker Clark and Jarell Hayes.
