Mrs. Rosalee Fisher Alexander entered into eternal life at Springdale Health Care Center in Camden, South Carolina on May 22, 2019.Born in Kershaw County on July 10, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Fisher and Mrs. Estelle Williams Fisher. Mrs. Alexander received her early religious training at St. Paul United Methodist Church where she supported the church with her presence, finance and prayers. She loved the Lord and loved her church demonstrated through her work of service which included Mother of the church, usher, member and chairperson of the United Methodist Women and May Day Queen.A heart of love caring and giving, the Lord was her comfort, shepherd, source of her strength and the strength of her life. She worked as a domestic engineer and health care professional.She married to the late Landy L. Alexander, Jr. and they were married for 54 years. She was blessed to be the mother of fourteen children. Mrs. Alexander coined the phrase “We love each other!” and shared this sentiment often upon her expressions, her kindness and her acts of love and sacrifice. She possessed an adventurous spirit was a trendsetter in her time and loved to travel and went to varied destinations.Education was one of her top priorities, subsequently she pursued every opportunity she could to enroll in many educational programs. She received certificates of awards from the Kershaw County Adult Education program and other programs.She was predeceased by her husband Landy L. Alexander, Jr; one daughter, Dorothy Wilson; six sons, Clarence Landy, Claude, Steven, Gary and Ronald Alexander.Those left to cherish her fond memory and grieve her passing and celebrate her homegoing are four daughters, Catherine McClendon, Delores Alexander, Belinda Alexander and Rosemary Bracey; three sons, Sylvester, Terry and Reginald; one son-in-law, Alvin Wilson and one daughter-in-law Debbie Alexander; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Servant of God, Well Done!Thy glorious warfare’s past.The battle’s fought, the race is won,And thou are crowned at last.
