Marie Frances Leonard was born October 12, 1944 in Boykin, South Carolina. Marie was the daughter of the late Daisy Carter Leonard and Clifton Leonard, Sr. She departed this life on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at KershawHealth Camden, South Carolina.   Marie, affectionately known as “Frank” to her family and close friends, was educated in the Kershaw County School System. She was a dedicated employee of Dupont May Plant until she retired early due to disability. Marie was a member of Good Hope Wesley Chapel Camden, South Carolina. Marie enjoyed working, spending time with her family and friends, watching football and fishing in her spare time. She loved cooking, especially frying fish, baking pound cakes and sweet potato pies for family (grandchildren) and friends. Marie leaves to cherish her precious memories three loving daughters, Deloris Bailey of Bluffton, South Carolina, Denise(John) Bennett of Lugoff, South Carolina and Michelle(George) Anderson of Columbia, South Carolina; two brothers, Clifton Leonard, Jr and Lee Leonard both of Camden, South Carolina; three sisters, Daisy Mae Engram, Reatha L. Johnson and Delores(George) Grant all of Camden, South Carolina; Eight grandchildren, Courtney M. Pate, Cory Gooding, Allan Miller and Alexandria Miller all of Bluffton, South Carolina, Keyerra Anderson and Matthew Anderson both of Columbia, South Carolina; Jalen Bennett and Trinity Bennett both of Lugoff, South Carolina: two great-granddaughters Brelynn and Layla both of Bluffton, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Caverl and twin brothers Hillie and Lannie Leonard.
