Andrew "Paul" Reddick, Sr

November 2, 1931 — April 8, 2021

Andrew Reddick was born November 2nd, 1931 in Bishopville, SC, to the late Ervin Reddick, Sr and Rosa Lee Cooley; he was educated in Lee county public schools. In his youth, Andrew was brought up in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Bishopville, SC. Later in life, he joined the Apostolic Pentecostal Assembly church of Lydia, SC, where he served as a deacon.

He was married to the late Mary Ethel Phillips on January 5, 1962. He was a devoted husband to Mary until her death. Andrew was employed with the city of Bishopville as a Sanitation worker worker until he retired. He was also a farmer and worked with Bill Berry's of Bishopville. Andrew was an advent baseball lover of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the 341 hawks. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family he also loved playing Bingo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Reddick; sisters, Mary Reddick and Minnie Reddick Cabbagestalk; brothers, Jessie Reddick, Bobbie Reddick, and Rochelle Reddick; sisters-in-law, Jean Reddick, Ettie Bell Tate, Mary Reddick, Betty Reddick, Shelby Mack, Rebecca Phillips, Bertie Mae Hough, Willene Hough, Ketha Barnes; brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Scott, Harvey Lee Wilson, James "June" Cabbagestalk, Manning Phillips, Freddie Myers, Daniel Hough, Sr, Elijah Thomas, and Willie Williams; a great-grandson, Kingston Bracey.

He is survived by his son, Andrew E. "Quincy" Reddick, Jr; daughters, Marlene Reddick, Angela (Larry) Stuckey and Chenese (Carlos) Bracey; his loving grandchildren who will miss him dearly, Darius Davis, Mya Reddick, Phillip (Kendra) Bracey, Stephanie (Audie) Diggs, Danielle (Lawrence) O'Neil, Bridgette, Alisha, Mario, Calderone, and Carlton Bracey; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Helen Wilson, Shirley Scott, Richard (Margie) Reddick, Thomas (Jacquelyn) Reddick, Johnnie Reddick, and Ervin Reddick; sisters-in-law, Irene Reddick, Regina (Fred) Scott, and Susan Phillips.
